Prof. Dr. Christian Wozny als Sektionsleiter für ‘Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience’ der Fachzeitschrift »Communications Biology« wiedergewählt
Prof. Dr. Christian Wozny wurde erneut zum Sektionsleiter für den Bereich »Zelluläre und molekulare Neurowissenschaften« (orig.: Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience) bei Communications Biology gewählt, einer führenden Open-Access-Zeitschrift, die vom Nature Portfolio herausgegeben wird.
Die Sektionsleiter (orig.: Section Leads) wurden erstmals 2022 eingeführt, um fachkundige Beratung im redaktionellen Prozess der Zeitschrift zu leisten und die Zeitschrift mitzugestalten und zu unterstützen. Im Jahr 2023 wurde die Sektion Neurowissenschaften erweitert und in zwei separate Bereiche aufgeteilt: »Zelluläre und molekulare Neurowissenschaften« sowie »Kognitive und computergestützte Neurowissenschaften«. Seit seiner ersten Ernennung im Jahr 2023 wurde Prof. Wozny nun bereits dreimal wiedergewählt, was das anhaltende Vertrauen und die Anerkennung seitens des Verlags und des Teams der internen Editoren widerspiegelt.
»Es ist eine große Ehre, erneut zum Section Lead gewählt worden zu sein«, sagte Prof. Dr. Christian Wozny. »Ich bin sehr dankbar für die Möglichkeit, weiterhin zum Wachstum und Erfolg von Communications Biology beitragen zu können.« Seit 2020 ist Prof. Wozny Mitglied des Editorial Boards von Communications Biology und unterstützt dort den Peer-Review-Prozess und das Engagement der Zeitschrift für eine frei zugängliche Wissenschaft.

Prof. Dr. Christian Wozny has once again been elected Section Lead for the field of »Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience« at Communications Biology, a leading open-access journal published by the Nature Portfolio.
Section Leads were first introduced in 2022 to provide expert guidance in the journal’s editorial process and to help shape and support its development. In 2023, the Neuroscience section was expanded and divided into two separate areas: »Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience« and »Cognitive & Computational Neuroscience«. Since his initial appointment in 2023, Prof. Wozny has now been re-elected three times, reflecting the continued trust and recognition from the publisher and the team of in-house editors.
