Personal medicine in the focus of research
Personal medicine is based on a complex anthropological concept. Human beings are (potentially) always persons and assuch, in addition to their organismic aspects (Hyle, Bios), always have psychosocial as well as socio-cultural aspects(psyche, logos).
In all patients, in addition to organismic aspects (potentially), their emotional and intellectual educational history, their world view and view of life (sense of coherence), their sense of identity in time and space, their autonomous thinking and judgment, their ability to create an enlightened humanistic existence as well as their ability to take responsibility for themselves, for their fellow human beings as well as for certain aspects of culture can be identified, diagnosed and, if necessary, promoted and/or treated.
Our aim is the further development of person concepts (for the time being) in the fields of medicine, psychology, psychotherapy, pedagogy, creative therapies.
