The Institute of Research and Education GmbH was founded in 2016 and is a scientific enterprise, located in the Hamburg HafenCity district. Focus of this institute are research services, contract research and professional development.

The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is a framework for describing and organizing information on functioning and disability. It provides a standard language and a conceptual basis for the definition and measurement of health and disability. The role of the ICF Research Institute (IRIs) is to research and support the ICF utilization and implementation in Germany.

IEB Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics

The IEB Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is a research institute focusing on epidemiology and biostatistics and is just being established. The institute is affiliated with MSH and focuses on the teaching of technical expertise and experience from the field of statistics, IT and medicine.

As an ambulatory clinic for research and teaching, the Psychotherapeutic Academic Clinic of MSH covers a broad range on psychotherapeutic treatment options and provides counselling- and prevention services. Research activities and the inclusion of expertise in our academic teaching is a key focus of the psychotherapeutic academic clinic.

The HIP Hafencity Institute for Psychotherapy is officially recognized and accredited by the Hamburg Authority for Health and Consumer Protection as a training institute where one can become a psychological psychotherapist based on the guidelines of the approbation- and examination decree.
