Project on early diagnosis of motivational disorders during learning processes
Motivation in learning is the decisive factor to understand and remember learning content. Where motivation is high, there is a subsequent increase of joy and interest in learning, leading to better learning outcomes. If motivational disorders are diagnosed on time, learning processes can be adjusted and a more successful adaption of learning content is deemed possible.
The aim of the project »SensoMot« is to recognize critical, motivational circumstances using specific sensory data. Through the deduction of relevant adaptation mechanisms, learning processes are guided in accord with the motivation of the person. Through wearables the participant’s physical data is collected and can indicate levels of stress or boredom. Based on these physical data, the software’s algorithm adjusts the pace of learning.
