Funded by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, the cooperating Institute for Subjective Experience and Research supports a project on artistic work with people suffering from dementia in Hamburg.
The project aims to establish a network to support the sharing and societal partaking of people with signs of early dementia in the city district Hamburg Altona. The project seeks to develop targeted services and assist in the translation of these services. An artistic studio will be established as a core location where people with signs of early dementia can convene and work artistically. Furthermore, the studio provides a platform to involve people with dementia in the artistic and cultural context of the city district.
