The research project is structured into two parts: firstly, athletes of the FINA world championship 2015 were questioned on their injuries and discomfort levels in the preceding four weeks to the championships. Secondly, medical doctors were asked to daily document athletes’ occurring injuries and diseases during the actual championship.
