Writing Center of the MSH

Writing in the study, profession and everyday life makes special demands on the literacy and verbal expressiveness, which is very individual and different in each case. Writing conveys key competences, promotes creativity, self-awareness and enables a change of perspective. Writing is self-insurance. Language, writing and reading are elementary assets and »material« in creative-artistic and educational-therapeutic professions.

Our current offer portfolio:     

• Use the design potential of poetry and literature for health, counseling and change processes, such as the current weekend seminar »BeSchreib Dein Leben« for biographical writing, songwriting or writing letters.     
• In the workshop »Scientific Writing Made Easy« and the »Long Night of Writing«, we support you in the planning and realization of even complex writing projects, such as scientific papers and theses as well as intermedial poetry and art projects.     
• We design tailor-made training courses and specific as well as needs-based workshop offers, even for those who are interested in the outside world, who allow low-level-high-value writers low-level access to writing and literacy, that are effective and fun.     
• We qualify multipliers in further education and training around the topic and supervise your professional practice.     
• In individual and confidential counseling sessions, we help in all phases of the writing process (e.g. writing problems or blockages).   
  
• We offer professional fee-based writing advice to one of our instructors or individual free Peer2Peer consultation with a student advisor who already has experience in accompanying writing processes.     
• In addition, we organize the Peer2Peer offer »Write Inn - Write on« for MSH and BSP students: This takes place every two weeks on Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 3 pm in the form of working together on one's own texts, also a Peer2Peer advice is possible. Just come over.
