Information for International Students

Welcome to the wonderful City of Hamburg and its international urban space HafenCity with an amazing view of the river Elbe > Click here for the location of Medical School Hamburg

Internationality is a key value to us. That is why we make sure our students from all over the world feel comfortable with us at MSH. We offer excellent customized assistance for international students. Our small study groups make it easy to get in touch with both German fellow-students and lecturers - this open and family-like atmposphere will make you feel at home in no time!

At the moment all of our programmes are offered in German so we recommend you have sufficient knowledge of the language or participate in a preparatory German course. In case you do not yet have one of the most widely accepted German language certificates (Goethe Certificate, TestDaF, TELC), we will be happy to provide you with information on German language courses in Hamburg. If you wish to apply for a full Bachelor or Master programme and obtain a degree at MSH, please note that you will have to prove sufficient language proficiency with an official certificate and (in most cases) apply for a visa. More information on this can be found here.
