Biography

After a period abroad in the U.S. and in South Africa, Sarah Bochnig graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Netherlands and completed her Master degree in Psychology with focus on Occupational- and Oranisational Psychology at the University of Hamburg. During her undergraduate studies in the Netherlands, she was involved in projects related to intergroup processes and social categorization as research assistant. In her Master thesis, she explored emotional contagion processes in agile team work settings. Here, she focused on the topics of agility and digital transformation in organizations. Since 2016, she undertakes additional training on communication psychology at the Schulz von Thun Institute for Communication in Hamburg.

After several years of hands-on professional work in the field of psychological personnel selection and -development and project management, she now progresses to the academic teaching sphere. Since winter semester 2017, Sarah Bochnig is academic staff with focus on Occupational- and Organizational Psychology at MSH Medical School Hamburg.

Teaching

Sarah Bochnig teaches into the Master degree Occupational- and Organizational Psychology with a focus on personnel selection and -development. At the BSP Business School Berlin, Campus Hamburg, she teaches into the Bachelor and Master degrees Economic Psychology, with a focus on psychological diagnostic and personnel psychology.
