Biography

Jana Klose graduated in 2004 in the field of social pedagogy at the Evangelische Fachhochschule des Rauhen Hauses. She then worked in the field of child- and youth support services in Hamburg. In her search for work as social pedagogic family support, the worked with socially disadvantaged children, adolescent and their parents in their everyday life. Here, she was often faced with heavily burdened and traumatized children and adolescents and it is here when her interest in psychotherapy started to grow. From 2006-2008 she underwent training to become a systemic counsellor (Bremer Institut für Systemische Beratung, Therapie und Supervision). In 2011 she undertook additional vocational training to become a child- and adolescent psychotherapist (depth-psychology) at the Ausbildungsinstitut ZAP-Nord GmbH and received license to practice in 2015. She concurrently worked as therapist in child- and youth psychiatry of the Catholic Children's Hospital Wilhelmstift. Here, she focused on treating girls with eating disorders and in the child protection centre (counselling support for families facing violent acts).

Today, Jana Klose runs her own praxis as child- and adolescent psychotherapist.
