Biography

Graduated in Physics 2014 at the University of Hamburg, and subsequently as a research associate at the University of Hamburg at the Center for Free Electron Laser Science (CFEL).

Teaching Activities

Dieter Rukser has teaching experience in the field of physics and nanosciences at the University of Hamburg and supervision of various physics internships for students of physics at the University of Hamburg as well as students of the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg in the field of electrical engineering, process engineering, bioprocess engineering and energy and environmental technology.

Research Interests

Basic research in the field of copper-based bioinorganic model complexes using resonant Raman scattering and time-resolved XAS measurements. The goal was a deeper understanding of the entatic state and the underlying mechanism of tyrosinase. New measuring equipment was developed and built for this purpose. In addition, the investigation of self-produced silver nanowires in polymer composites to form conductive, producible by a 3D printer, plastics.
