Prof. Dr. Robert J.B. Lehmann

Professor Lehmann studied psychology at the Technical University of Berlin, at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Liverpool with a focus on forensic psychology and criminology. He graduated in 2009 with a diploma in psychology and then completed his PhD in 2014 at the Institute for Forensic Psychiatry of the Charité Berlin under the auspices of Professor Dahle. His doctorate, titled »Using Crime Scene Behavior for Risk Assessment in Sexual Offenders«, was funded by the German Research Foundation. As a postdoctoral researcher, Robert Lehmann worked at the Institute for Forensic Psychiatry of the Charité Berlin in the project for the evaluation of social therapy and the placement and treatment of security guards in the state of Berlin. In January 2017 he moved to the Ministry of Justice Brandenburg as a technical officer and in October 2017, he took on the role of professor for forensic psychology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Medical School Berlin (MSB).

Professor Lehmann completed research periods abroad at Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) and at Public Safety Canada, Corrections Research (Ottawa, Canada). In addition to his research and teaching activities Prof. Lehmann works as a forensic expert.

Teaching

Robert Lehmann führte national (z.B. Freie Universität Berlin, Universität Kassel) sowie international im Rahmen von Gastvorlesungen (z.B. im Rahmen des International Postgraduate Expert Programme in Investigative and Legal Psychology des United Nations Crime and Justice Research Institute) verschiedene Lehrveranstaltungen durch. Weiterhin ist er zur Durchführung von Workshops zur Anwendung der kriminalprognostischen Verfahren Static-99R, STABLE-2007 und ACUTE-2007 durch den Autor der Verfahren, R. Karl Hanson zertifiziert. 

Robert Lehmann has held various courses and delivers guest lectures (for example in the International Postgraduate Expert Program in Investigative and Legal Psychology of the United Nations Crime and Justice Research Institute) both nationally (e.g. Freie Universität Berlin, University of Kassel) and internationally. He is certified by the author R. Karl Hanson, to conduct workshops on the application of the criminal prognostic procedures Static-99R, STABLE-2007 and ACUTE-2007.
