Biography

After completing her master's degree at the University of Hamburg, Ms. Pistoll worked in the psychological service of a Hamburg prison. This work mainly involved the preparation of treatment examinations and psychological (locker-) statements.

Currently, she is working as a test leader within an interdisciplinary pilot project of the chairs of Educational Psychology (headed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Martens) and Developmental Psychology (headed by Prof. Dr. Sonja Bröning). Here, Ms. Pistoll is concerned with the influence of early childhood attachment patterns on partnership stress coping.

In addition, she is involved in further studies of both chairs, which focus on self-regulation and its feedback processes in teaching-learning scenarios, as well as the consideration of dyadic regulation processes within distinguishable and non-distinguishable dyads. Within the framework of the scientific cooperation in teaching and research, a doctorate will be pursued in the next few years.
