Different Foreign Languages and Certified Language Tests as Additional Courses

Because knowledge of foreign languages proven through certificates and tests are in many cases a condition for taking on a continuing Master's degree programme or to starting a job abroad, we offer students of Medical School Hamburg(MSH) an additional range of foreign languages courses, too.

This (fee-based) offer consists primarily of professional preparatory courses for certified English language tests, which are relevant to the international professional and academic further qualification. After successfully taking part in the courses, the students are qualified to sit the examination at the test facilities for the foreign language in question.

Small groups of 6 to 8 participants are formed once the classification test has been evaluated. The course consists of 30 training units lasting 45 minutes each, which are performed on a total of 15 dates. The price of the courses is €295 for MSH students. You have access to the inlingua online learning tool and are provided with all of the learning material.

The course leads to the TOEIC test. This Test of English for International Communication is primarily important for a professional career in foreign English-speaking countries. It assesses the linguistic ability and international communication ability of non-native speakers in professional situations.

As completion certificates, you receive the MSH certificate and also the inlingua certificate of attendance.

Further tests, such as the TOEFL test, are possible on request.

If necessary, we expand the extra-curricular offering to include further foreign languages.
