Elective modules Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine

To respond to the complex and cross-disciplinary demands in the health care of severely sick patients, a broad and in-depth knowledge in the areas of natural sciences and nursing sciences is of utmost importance. The interaction and interrelations of these sciences form essential components to respond to intensive therapeutic tasks and measurements in an adequate way. They build a theoretical foundations for the subsequent decision-making and responsibility skills in real life job situations.

It is not only the field of intensive medicine, but also preventive, curative, rehabilitative and palliative care that build the professional picture of nursing sciences and that go beyond the mere orientation of results.
